Thank you for contacting State Representative Celia Israel regarding the I-35 Capital Express Central Project. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity not only to address the current equity, safety, and capacity concerns our region has long endured, but also to redesign an I- 35 that better serves all in our region as we look ahead. Rep. Israel, along with other members in the Central Texas delegation, submitted a letter to TxDOT during the recent public comment period to air many concerns related to the design as currently developed. Attached you will find that letter to TxDOT in which our concerns were formally raised.

The I-35 redesign is a top priority for Rep. Israel and she will continue to be engaged throughout the process. Your opinion is important to us and Rep.
